Executive Team

Dan Steere   Chief Executive Officer
With more than 20 years of experience in mobile devices and services, Dan brings a blend of business strategy, marketing skill and technology acumen to GreenRoad. Prior to joining GreenRoad, Dan was vice president of sales and marketing for Matrix Semiconductor. At Matrix, Dan pioneered the introduction of groundbreaking technology for mobile electronics and content publishing.

In addition to driving marketing and sales growth, Dan served as Matrix's CFO from 1999 - 2004. After Matrix was acquired by SanDisk Corporation, Dan served as vice president of OTP and consumable memory at SanDisk and subsequently as entrepreneur in residence at Benchmark Capital.

Prior to Matrix, Dan was an early entrant into business-to-business Internet services as business unit manager at pcOrder.com. Earlier, Dan held a series of marketing positions at Intel focused on mobile computing and advanced consumer electronics. Dan began his career at Citibank.

Dan received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was named an Arjay Miller Scholar, and an AB Computer Science from Harvard University.
Pete Allen   Vice President, Strategic Accounts
Pete Allen is a telematics industry expert bringing more than 15 years of sales and customer experience to GreenRoad. At GreenRoad Pete is responsible for managing the entire customer experience. This includes building and managing sales, field services and account management. He has been instrumental in defining the tools and process used to bring world class sales, service and support to every customer.

Prior to joining the company, Pete spent 12 years at XATA Corporation in sales and sales management roles. Over the last four years Pete was vice president of national accounts with responsibility for developing XATA's strategic customer relationships, and leading the national accounts sales and system engineering teams. As an individual contributor he signed some of the largest US fleets and consistently produced above quota.

Prior to joining XATA Corporation, Pete served as the northeast sales manager for Cadec Systems based in Londonderry, NH. Pete was the top sales person at Cadec three of his four years there. He successfully grew both new business and overall revenue in the territories.
Aidan Rowsome   General Manager, Europe
Aidan Rowsome brings more than 20 years of technical, sales, operational and management experience to GreenRoad. Prior to joining the company, Aidan was managing director of RAC Software Solutions, where he grew revenue and profits to £7m and £1m respectively and introduced successful new mobile products. Prior to RAC, Aidan was with Toronto-based Bid.Com as European managing director and vice president worldwide sales.

Aidan spent two years in Canada as a consultant and project director to the Alberta telecommunications company, TELUS, managing the merger of two of the largest Internet service providers in Alberta, Canada. In 1989, Aidan joined US-based Quarterdeck Corp, now part of Symantec Group, where he was the first European employee. Over the next eight years he grew European operations from a zero base to more than 150 people and $30 million in annual revenue.
Eric Weiss   Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing
Eric Weiss has an 18-year track record of launching, marketing and rapidly scaling multinational businesses which have included software as a service. He has successfully deployed disruptive new technology in dynamic regulatory and public policy environments that span telecommunications, clean technology and now "green" driving.

Prior to GreenRoad Eric served as chief marketing officer of Covad Communications. As vice president of Macromedia's telecom solutions business, he was credited with launching this new business unit, one of the company's first forays into vertical industry solutions. Eric co-founded and served as COO of ITXC, helped take the company public and grew revenues from zero to over $300 million. Eric has also held marketing and management roles at Hewlett-Packard, Dialogic (formerly Intel), and BCE Ventures.

Eric has a demonstrated passion for the clean and green and the intersection of business and public policy. Before joining GreenRoad, Eric was an entrepreneur in residence for the California Israel Chamber of Commerce, where he founded and currently chairs the Cleantech program for a group of investors, entrepreneurs and established companies in California and Israel.

Eric's double masters degrees, an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, also provide complementary business and policy perspectives.
Eric Shishko   Senior Vice President, Global Insurance
Eric is responsible for building GreenRoad's global insurance and consumer businesses. He brings more than 25 years of experience in software, information management, automation systems, and manufacturing to the GreenRoad team. Prior to GreenRoad, Eric was executive vice president of worldwide business development and international sales for DriveCam, Inc. In this role he was responsible for business development and global strategy, including alliances, partnerships and acquisitions across distribution channels, technology and product and services delivery.

Before working at DriveCam, Eric was president and CEO of Newstar Solutions, where he led the acquisition, redirection and subsequent sale of the company. Prior to that he was president and COO of Maestro Commerce, where he led aggressive growth and sale of the company. He also held key financial roles at Bell & Howell Company and GTE Corporation. In addition, Eric has used his broad experience in strategy, business development, management, marketing and mergers and acquisitions to found and co-found five companies within the industry areas of software/internet services, professional services, consulting and real estate development.

Eric has a BS in Finance with high honors from the University of Florida and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management
Pam Kramer   General Manager, Consumer
Pam Kramer has over 17 years of experience leading the creation of new consumer categories. As GreenRoad's General Manager for Consumer, Pam is leading the development of consumer business and product offering, applying GreenRoad's award-winning technology and capabilities to meet the needs of individual consumers and personal auto insurers.

Before joining GreenRoad, she was most recently Chief Marketing Officer at Lending Club in early 2009, leading the company's brand strategy, customer acquisition and development. Pam shaped the company's overall positioning and dramatic growth with individual investors. Pam was also the Chief Marketing Officer of MarketTools, a leader in online market research innovation, from 2005 to 2008. In addition, she served as General Manager of Zoomerang (a division of MarketTools), a pioneer and leader in online surveys.

Before that, she spent nine years in marketing and product leadership roles with E*TRADE Financial--from leading the design and development of the company's first commercial Web site to becoming Chief Marketing Officer from 2002-2004. Before E*TRADE, she was a co-founder of an award-winning multimedia software company in the early 1990s. Pam has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University at Buffalo and a Master of Arts degree in East Asian Studies from Cornell University.
Doron Somer   Senior Vice President, Engineering & Operations
Doron Somer brings to GreenRoad 20 years of experience leading multinational technology operations, delivering products and services to the world's largest enterprises. At GreenRoad Doron is responsible for engineering, support and IT operations.

Prior to joining GreenRoad, Doron served as GM, Israel for Verix, where he was responsible for software development, research, support and IT operations and led an innovative SaaS (software as a service) technology operation. Doron spent several years in Silicon Valley managing global engineering organizations, as well as architecting large scale enterprise products. As Chief Architect for Cosine Communications, Doron helped the company rapidly grow, resulting in a successful $7 billion IPO.

Doron has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion), where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Hod Fleishman   Founder, Chief of Safety
Hod Fleishman is a co-founder and chief of safety at GreenRoad, and a member of the company's board of directors. Having served as CEO for the company's first four years, Hod now leads partnership development and drives GreenRoad's success in implementing data-based safety programs that yield substantial cost and risk reductions to fleets and insurance companies.

Hod previously led chemical and biological protection systems design and implementations for consumer applications. He was an associate professor at Bezalel Art and Design Academy in Jerusalem and Lev Institute of Technology. Read Hod's Blog
Ofer Raz   Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Ofer Raz brings more than 15 years of technology experience to GreenRoad. He was a co-founder of 1CC, an Internet collaboration tool, and Tink Multimedia Productions, where his award-winning titles were distributed by Apple Inc., Electronic Arts, GT Interactive and Softkey. Ofer was also a key contributor in the early stages of Back-Web Technologies. Immediately before co-founding GreenRoad, he was director of product development for Relegence, a real-time data mining solutions company.
David Coleman   Vice President, Business Development
David Coleman joined the GreenRoad team in January of 2008 and is responsible for implementing the business development and channel partner strategy for GreenRoad.

David has been actively involved in the automotive technology industry for over 16 years. Prior to joining GreenRoad, David spent 14 years as a fleet management technology professional with PHH Arval. Finishing his career with PHH as Vice President, Telematics, he was responsible for the conception, development, and deployment of PHH Onboard, the fleet management industry's first telematic powered services offering. Under David's leadership, PHH Onboard won the 2006 American Business Stevie Award for Best New Product and Information Week's Top 100 Services Award.

David has been a key speaker in many industry forums on fleet management. He received his degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
Livnat Haleva   Vice President, Research & Development
Livnat has over 20 years of experience leading enterprise software development projects in the computer industry. As vice president of R&D, she manages GreenRoad's engineering, product management and quality assurance teams.

Before joining Greenroad, Livnat served as director of development at Symantec (NASDAQ: SYMC), and was an active member of the application performance management business unit leadership team. In this position, she was in charge of product definition, design, development and team building. Prior to Symantec, Livnat held leadership positions at Precise Software Solution (acquired by Veritas, acquired by Symantec) taking projects from inception to delivery. Before that she was a team leader at Magic Software Ltd. (NASDAQ: MGIC).

Livnat was a commanding officer at the IDF Computer Sciences Academy where she held several positions in the programming education department. She has a BS in computer science and mathematics from Bar-Ilan University.
